Hey! I'm desperately trying to find a hosting where I could store the mysql dbses. It doesn't even have to allow website creation and stuff - I just want to stop using fucking hamachi and shitty evolve. So far, any hosting that I've tryed - my authserver wouldn't connect to the database (probably because they dont allow external mysql access for fucking security reasons). Please help!

I quoted Skarn, so I meant his 010 tutorial (one that's in Miscellaneous/Tutorials) -

That's exactly what I wanna do, I just need to write a script for that. Is your 010 tutorial enough to do that? -

Hey! It crashes when I use it. There's an error, but it's in russian and I'm not sure how to translate it. Also, what exactly is supposed to be in patchlist? The current names of the files, e.g. File00000001.blp? -

Good for you! Could you share? -
Hey! Through an unfortunate series of my stupidity, a giant amount of work was packed into an MPQ and then original files deleted (don't even ask how, I'm already ashamed enough). When I tried to get the files back, the only way was to extract them from the MPQ, which resulted into all of it being in the weird "FileXXXXXXXX.extension" form. So, I thought it would be possible to create a 010 tool, which would take the values from the "struct filename" thing, assign it as the actual name of the file, and also generate and place files according to the paths in "struct Textures". The rest I'll do by hand, since I remember the general structure. That is a wonderful idea, I'm sure, but I lack the skill to turn it into reality. Could someone help? I mean, not necessarily do it for me (just in case, I'm not saying I'm against it ), but at least describe the general way such things are done, or link a tutorial?

Also, is it possible to link an external database, that's not on the same server as the website?
-
The only thing that looks like it is "$acc_db". Is it some kind of variable, which is set elsewhere, or should I just change that to "$auth"? And where do I set the table to be "account"?
-
Thank you, I'll try btw, this game is stolen from Blizzard Entertainment On a serious note, I got this website together with my server (which is pre-compiled), so I didn't know. I am most likely to change it anyway. But thanks for telling me.

Hey! I'm trying to switch from using hamachi/evolve/etc to FileZilla and 0fees.net. I went through the website code (attached) and can't find any links to the mysql databases (where the accounts should be saved (I want that to be the 'auth' database and 'account' table)). Can someone help? website.rar

Hey! For the last couple of days I've been getting "memory could not be "written"" crashes very often. Most of the times it happens randomly and it's awfully irritating because I can't see a single fucking reason it would crash. Can this happen because of me having too many custom patches?
-
How can I change that?
-
I was following that guide, yes. But exporting as "armature" wasn't mentioned anywhere. To be honest, I don't even see the word armature anywhere on those screensots I've posted. And what about those 4 render flags? Why does the original model have them? Maybe I'm just stupid. Sorry(
-
Any thoughts?
-
I said I just copied the render flags from the original Glaive_1H_TwilightHammer_B_01.M2 model. And there's a screenshot showing that model having those render flags. What do you mean? Where do I choose how to export it?
-
Might be quite annoying, but I'll show the whole process: 1) Saving the two models: 2) Converting one, using RenderFlags from the original model, then repeating the whole thing for the othe one: 3) Trying ingame: 4) Converting to Cata using jM2 (repeating for both): 5) Trying ingame: 6) Crying

Hey! Words can't express how hopeless I am right now. It seems like whenever I try to do something more complicated than dbc editing, NOTHING FUCKING WORKS! Basically, there's this model "Glaive_1H_Twilighthammer_b_01.M2": What I've tried to do is to take this model, change the middle part just a little bit in blender, export it, then mirror the whole model so it fits the other hand and export that too. Then convert the result into m2 and use it ingame. I've tried using both m2mod v4 and OBJtoM2, but m2mod would just crash on converting. OBJtoM2 would create the two m2 files and skin files for them, but the lefthand model appears as the good old blue-white cube, and the righthand model doesn't appear at all. Wonderful. P.S. I've also tried converting those two models (from OBJtoM2) to cata using jM2, but that didn't help.

Hey, guys! I just did this: I took the original spell (ward of the worldbreaker) and simply copied it's spell.dbc entry, giving a new Id. I haven't touched ANYTHING else. When I tried to use the spell ingame, nothing worked. From this simple experiment, I can deduce that there should be an entry in some other place (maybe the sql db) for any spell to work. Question is: where?
-
I tried copying another spell in a similar way: it didn't work. Maybe there's some additional database I have to use? Maybe the sql ones?
