Who know, how to mod 6.2.3 client. Mb somebody have link to tutorial. I found guide how to convert .adt to WoD, but I don't know how open WoD MPQs and create it with moded files.

WoD MPQs? there is no such thing as that. Try using CASCExplorer if you want to extract files.

So I don't need to extract files, I need create a custom patch on WoD client, with custom interface mb...

Wod MPQ ? no no no....

Since Wod, MPQ were removed from WoW, Blizzard use a new system called CASC (http://www.pxr.dk/wowdev/wiki/index.php?title=CASC)

Basically, that's just big files (1Go each) with files from the game, you can open them with Casceditor.

 

 

Modding on Wod is like wotlk, but you don't create mpq, juste create the folders inside your wow folder.

So, I download that (screenshot) and after I can open blizzard "folders" non mpq with casceditor? And modded files like in the past?

First of all, you need to patch your with the offset you posted. Second, you need to create folders (like WoTLK or Cataclysm without MPQ).

That's the problem

 

The only way is to perfectly understand the CASC system and upload your own files in a ftp or something like that.

Alright, so I've tried doing this but (off course) for me it is currently not working.

I've downloaded the WoD client from Firestorm, Then downloaded the cracked exe " 6.2.3.20726 " since that is the version of the client
( Cracked exe found by the thread of Rangorn), Then downloaded Casceditor by zezula (First link on google)

But when trying to open to data file(s) of 1gig at start I get an error:
"The opened storage does not support listfile. Please, Choose a listfile for loading storage files:"

The list is empty, When pressing Ok it loads but everything is unknown files and prolly not seen correctly.

Sidenote, I found the client very wierd as it req. their private server launcher to be able to start the game and the client folder did not have an exe.

Also starting the game with the cracked exe causes it to crash.

So yea, What are all the things I'm doing wrong?

Okay basicly I reccomend using 6.2.4 You need a executable that allowes you to laod files from your folder. From that point on you can simpyl modify date nearly the same way you did for 3.3.5.

Luzifix has also released a 3.3.5 to WoD converter which lets you port up maps.
