Amaroth
Maybe you can't, maybe you can. Blizzard's editor is ofc better than Noggit, but very similiar. You can change radius of your brushes by holding alt, clicking on ground and moving your brush to left or to right. When your brush is small enough (around 4yds), you can literally edit terrain vertex by vertex, like I do here:https://youtu.be/kfNxxxhtnO4?t=7m47sMirroring ofc isn't an option for us at all. But a lot of things can be done in Noggit, but you really have to know how to do it. What no software can do with ADT is increasing its amount of vertexis and polygons. You still have to mess up with exactly the same vertex grid. So, as long as you can edit terrain vertex-by-vertex in Noggit (and as I have shown you - you CAN), you can basically do whatever you desire in Noggit, and you would not be able to do more in other 3D software (well, except things like mirroring you mentioned).About texturing, there's a little hack called alphamaps, imported mapping for textures from 2D software (for instance from Photoshop), but I never used anything like that. I am still reading PMs and reacting to them, however, I am not keeping up to date with what is going on in the community and my ability to help you is becoming very limited - I no longer remember some things, I don't have tools installed anymore, and I don't know what is up to date nowadays. Lucian Tudorache
Oah, look at all the stuff Noggit can't do... Amazing, isn't it?Well, you can easily do what you've shown there in Noggit, learn to use Noggit first. WithinAmnesia
Okay, well I am trying to learn and looking around at all of the tools and asking questions. Even if they are pretty dumb at times I keep asking them. Chinese proverb: Ask a question - fool for 10 minutes, don't ask a question fool forever.Hey these mountains look pretty goodHow can we plug wow's height map into blender and monkey around with it? (Above Image source) *After some more quick Googling* Look how crazy blender is! This is nuts guys. This was in 2011 to boot X.x.So maybe a mixture of blender and Noggit would = amazing result? Blender for the base, Noggit for the Polish? What do you guys think? I don't know but just think of how cool it would be if w can get blender working with wow maps! It would be great! The Noggit can be used for the holes, m2 and wmos and stuff like this is nuts! This makes a ton of sense now guys. Sculpt and maybe paint in blender - then Polish and Refine in Noggit! This is crazy! WithinAmnesia
There has to be a way to hook up blender? This is crazy for we could do INSANE stuff with the wow maps if we get this working, think of the crazy mountains and even faces and stuff in the ground this could e revolutionary for what we could do in 5 hours. I know I am no Noggit wizard but just look at how cool blender is! *Even More Googling*AHHHH! This is insane!

Vortalex
Like anything else, with enough practice in Noggit you begin to get a feel for terrain building. Those mountains are actually fairly easy to make in Noggit.Where Noggit really falls short imo, aside from the bugs, is the texturing. I would really like some more texturing options. Skarn
It can be done using alphamaps. Shaping can be either done in Blender or in Noggit, or anything other 3D Editing programm. I don't see any problem at all. You should really pay attention to our beginner's tutorial section. I know many stuff there is boring and you may already know it but it seems there are actually a lot of infromation that you have no idea about either.
