Water in noggit is more green in my custom map then anywhere els.

Hiya,

I'm at the stage where I can finally start adding water to my created map.
But when I add water on pretty much any area on my map is more greener then when I though about the concept in other exiting wow maps.
Both times the water has the same type and opacity.

I have two picture to illustrate.
(First picture is the water in my map)
(Second picture is the water in Nagrand ( and how I want the color to be)

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

There's more likely reason schlumpf, its simply a different water type. Make sure both old and new water are for example ocean (5) (or whatever else you want to use there).

If you want to really make sure that you have water of correct water type everywhere, AllWater tool might be a lit more reliable than Noggit, because Noggits behaviour when it comes to setting and changing water type on just one chunk I find unrealiable at best.

I am now completely retired from modding. I am still reading PMs and reacting to them, however, I am not keeping up to date with what is going on in the community and my ability to help you is becoming very limited - I no longer remember some things, I don't have tools installed anymore, and I don't know what is up to date nowadays.

It is just setting it to the whole ADT, that's all.

No idea what you mean by saying that the settings only count for one ADT.
What would that have to do with the color?

Both water types are the same for sure. Tried that and double checked that couple of times.

depends on sky. also, noggit probably doesn't do water color right. verify in game, then edit light*band.dbc for your sky to modify water colors.

I think it will be the sky then. Since nagrand has a skybox and my map does not.

Wungasaurus is most likely right here. It looks like it is a lighting issue. Do you have any special lighting specified for that zone?

Havn't touched lighting nor sky/skyboxes yet at this point.
I will add my water on full opacity and it should resolve laterwith lighting I hope.
