I'm looking to add High Elves to my WoW server, but am having issues with the client crashing when trying select the High Elf race during character creation, causing an 0x004DFE9A instruction error. This error does not appear on WoWDev wiki, with the closest error being 0x004DFEDD.
I am using RaceID 22 for my High Elves, with a patched .exe to enable more than 21 races in the game client. My High Elves use a duplicated and renamed Blood Elf model, copied Blood Elf CharSection DBC entries (completely identical, bar race ID), use their own race DisplayID, have their own model entry, CharBaseInfo entry, ect.
I don't know why they're still crashing, and why the server fails to recognize them. Is anyone willing and able to assist me?
